No partner is necessary. Students are free for all events. Smooth-soled shoes are best. Socks work too.\nABOUT THE WORKSHOP: Dive deep into the secret codes of the Argentine tango with 15-year enthusiast Michael Parker. Michael comes to us from Muscle Shoals, AL. He's danced in 17 counties and will help you decipher the metaphors of the dance. The tango is a UNESCO Intangible World Heritage rich with meaning and charged by secret smiles, heartbeats, and the need for your fellow human beings. A potluck lunch (please bring finger foods) and a milonga follows the workshop.\n1-2 pm - Potluck lunch (Yum!) & Guided After Class Practica.\n2:00-5:00 pm MILONGA SOÑAR a dance party! Michael Parker DJ-- $5-------PARKING: Thanks to the West End United Methodist church, we can offer free parking in their lot HOWEVER PLEASE park at the far side of the lot away from the entrance of the church especially since it is Sunday! (On-street metered parking for a fee.)$20.00 per person
