Partnering 101 Dance Immerison Workshop 3:00PM @ The Ballroom - Green Hills - Saturday, November 1st, 2014
This is the class to be a part of if you want a giant boost to your lead and follow skills and understanding of how to dance with someone as opposed to dancing just steps.
Our bi-weekly 3 hour Dance Immersion workshop is growing in popularity. We have had requests for a workshop on how to partner the most popular steps in every dance and November 1st is when we've decided to make it happen.
Everything is broken down and NO PARTNER IS NECESSARY to attend. Notes will be given to all who attend.
Featuring steps and movements from Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Swing, Salsa, Cha Cha, Rumba, Bolero and Samba
Topics include:
~How to establish a real connection and stop wrestling your partner on the dance floor

~How to establish a connection in open or closed position and still have freedom of movement in the body
~How to dance more musically and quit worrying about timing
~Turning with body fluidness as opposed to with steps
~Switching to alternative rhythms and adding spontaniety in every dance
~How to add shape to your leads to facilitate movements and transitions
~How leads and follows overlap in different figures and dances
