Newcomers and Returners to Salsa Bootcamp 1:30PM @ Nashville Athletic Club - Saturday, September 13th, 2014
Salsa in Nashville is growing bigger by the day. Whether you are new to salsa or revisiting it after a long time away from dancing, we want YOU to come out to have fun with us! Bring yourself and anyone you think would enjoy learning how to salsa. You do NOT have to be a member of Nashville Athletic Club to attend. You will just sign a waiver saying they are not responsible if you get hurt. After learning at this newcomer salsa bootcamp, you will be able to hold your own at a salsa club!
Cost: $20
You will learn how to:
1. Hear the salsa rhythm and always be on beat.
2. Use proper handholds and arm tension to easily lead/follow.
3. Lead/follow a right turn, cross body lead, cross body lead with an inside turn, transition from closed position to open position and MORE!
