These secton outlines all the options that are available when you submit an event.
This are the most basic event type
It happens once and then it ends.
Edit you event
choose My Account/Edit my listing
please note that you can not edit your event once it's over.
Cancel you event
You can cancel you event anytime under My Account/Edit my listing
Click edit event and choose cancel event and submit.
All registered users will be notifed of this change via email automatically.
You do not have to verify these type of events
How can I remove these from this website?
You can use the contact form to email us for support if you need a listing removed.

These are event that happen every week, bi-weekly or monthly.
You have to verify these type of events
After x amount of time you will be required to verify your event via email. You will have up to 72 hours or the event will no longer be a recurring event.
How to edit these event types?
You must login and under choose My Account/edit my listings.
Please not that you can only edit your current upcoming event. You can not edit next week or 2 weeks ahead. same with monthly and bi-weekly.
You can edit you event up to the end time of the currently event.
To edit say your next week/bi-weekly/monthly event you must wait until the event has finished. We would recommend 2 hours after the event has ended in order to be safe.
You can set it to as long as 6 months to recurre

Cancel your event one this week/bi-weekly/monthly
Reasons include vacation, holiday ext..
You can cancel you event this current time under My Account/Edit my listing - "this week only"
It will resume and publish again after the event endtime of the current interval
All registered users will be notifed of this change via email automatically.
example -
I have a class and it happens on christmas day. So I cancel the event in is published for next week automatically

You can have an event that last up to 7 days in a row.
Examples include -
Competition week, Swing week, national dance week, weekend workshop, ext...
How do I set the options to include this event type?
It as easy as choosing the date and time. just choose the start date and time to the first start time and then choose it at the very end of your event.
example -
My event starts friday at 7pm.
I have a workshop on saturday and dance saturday night.
I have a workshop on Sunday until 4pm
Choose your start time friday 7pm
choose your end time as sunday 4pm.
The submission form will do the work for you.
It will tell you how many days it will last for.

Please note that an event is still considered one day or the same day unless the time is 6am the next day.
So a one time event that starts at 7pm on a friday and ends at 5am is still considered a one day event. Same for an event that start at 10am and ends at 5am the next day is still a one day event. The same logic is used for each day up till 7 days.
How to edit my daily event?
You must login and under choose My Account/edit my listings.
Then choose the event and click edit.
These are the same as a one time events but last for multiple days up to 7.

When you choose an event type to submit you will see the required fields in red. These are the minimum options needed in order for your event to be published.
Required fields are as follows
First Name: This is used internally by our system to communicate with the promoter (option to make public, but defaults to private).
Last Name: This is used internally by our system to communicate with the promoter (option to make public, but defaults to private).
Phone: This is used internally by our system to communicate with the promoter (option to make public, but defaults to private).
Email: This is used internally by our system to communicate with the promoter (option to make public, but defaults to private). Can list addtional email of choice
for public viewing.
Event Title: This is the title of the event.
Major Category: This is the option to choose what type of dance event it is. If it's a ballroom event your going to want to list this as ballroom. If it's Latin your going to want to list this as Latin. Choose the choice that best fits your event type.
Venue Name: This is the name of the venue the event is being held at.
Venue Address: Depending on if we have the venue already in our database, this will have the option to autocomplete. If this is the case their is no need to input all the fields in here. If the venue name does not autocomplete the address then your going to have to enter 4 more required fields. As follows - Street, City, State and Zipcode.
Start Date: Your going to use the date and time picker to compete these fields.
End Date: Your going to use the date and time picker to compete these fields.
Event Description: Here you tell us the details about the event.
Terms and conditions: This is still is a statement that you agree with our Terms and Conditions. By checking you agree with our terms.
You can submit your event with just theses as minimum options.
Required fields are as follows
